The town hall will focus on for-hire vehicle regulations for Taxicabs, Uber and Lyft drivers, pertinent public safety information for the African, Latino and Asian Pacific Islander communities, and Mayor Bowser’s Immigrant Justice Legal Services grant program.
Fund programs that provide services to the District’s African residents
Facilitate programs to ensure that community members are aware of District services.
Support local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and African community oriented organizations.
Organizes and facilitates cultural events, dialogues, and discussions focusing on diversity.
Engages African youth with various programs.
Collaborates with the Language Access Director (LAD), to implement Language Action Plans.
