The Mayor’s Office on African Affairs (MOAA) invites you to join us in celebrating our agency’s decade of service to the African Diaspora community in the District of Columbia. MOAA is hosting its 10th Year Anniversary Soirée on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the Lincoln Theatre from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.

As part of MOAA’s Multicultural Awareness and Community Building program and with the aim of celebrating the varied cultural and linguistic diversity of the District’s African residents, the program will showcase live music by KanKouran West African Dance Group, Feedel Band, Emé and Heteru, comedian Anna Mwalagho, and feature headliner Wondaboy. Mayor Bowser and MOAA will also honor Community Awardees for their commitment and service to the African Diaspora community. A free raffle draw will also be held for roundtrip tickets to South Africa, courtesy of South African Airways. The event is free and open to the public.
